No matter what terminal you’re in at Logan Airport in Boston, MA, there is great pizza waiting for you! It’s been a few months since I’ve flown through Logan & my mind was BLOWN by how many pizza options there are now.
In honor of #nationalpizzamonth, I tried them all!
Logan Airport Terminal E
In Terminal E I was greeted by Sbarro, my favorite New York pizza joint. 😉 The Logan Airport Sbarro sadly didn’t have breadsticks, but you are able to order a beer alongside a slice from them and enjoy it in the adjacent food court! As for the pizza itself, it was the same Sbarro’s you already know and love.
Monica’s Mercato‘s beautiful new location opened the day of my visit. They have a great bar and patio area, complete with white tile, a bar full of aperol, and string lights.
You can sit down at Monica’s Mercato or grab a sandwich to go at their take out counter, and really can’t go wrong either way. The breakfast pizza with onions and over easy eggs was a hit, and I was particularly impressed by their crust.
Dine Boston Bar & Grille is tucked away from the main hustle and bustle of Terminal E, and would be a great place to hide out if you prefer to spend your airport time working or reading a book.
Their pizzas are cooked in front of a cozy fire and inspired by Antico Forno’s in the North End.
Logan Airport Terminal C
At the end of Feburary 2020, Terminal C’s makeover will be complete (as far as I’m concerned) with the opening of Santarpio’s newest location right inside the airport!!! YAY! Their space is tucked towards the end of Terminal C’s gates, and will have sit-down seating as well as tons of bar seating. Santarpio’s is an absolute icon and I am so excited that it’s going to be so easy for travelers from out of town to enjoy their pizza.
Terminal C, which I usually fly out of, just got a major upgrade with the addition of Davio‘s – definitely try the pepperoni & pork sausage pizza! They are a local chain that is known for their sausage – you might have seen it being sold at your local grocery store.
As odds would have it, the location closest to home for me in Braintree doesn’t serve pizza, so I hadn’t tried Davio’s pizza until this visit to Logan!
The pizzas were generously sized, but if you end up with leftovers rest assured that the pizza reheats well.
Logan Airport Terminal B
Terminal B is an embarrassment of riches with pizzas from Lucca, Otto, Chef Wolfgang Puck’s W Pizza, and Trade.
Otto‘s mashed potato pizza is one that everybody needs to eat at least once. In a rush to grab a snack before you board? You can grab a slice to go! They’re in good company in their corner of Terminal B near Kelly’s Roast Beef, a North Shore classic.
I loved Lucca‘s sausage & banana pepper pizza, and they also had a lobster pizza that reminded me of a lobster roll, in a good way!
Their set-up was awesome, with the bar and tables really separated from the rest of the terminal. Aside from their pizzas, Lucca in Terminal B would be a great place to curl up with some pasta at the bar.
A few steps away at W Pizza by Chef Wolfgang Puck, I especially liked his famous BBQ chicken pizza (I’m secretly a sucker for corn on pizza.)
Trade in Terminal B has a gorgeous space where it’s easy to forget that you’re in the airport, & I was very impressed by their eggplant parmesan flatbread with scamorza, which is a smoky cheese that’s similar to, but has a little bit more of a punch than mozzarella.
Trade also sent out their hummus and house-made za’atar pita, which were delicious and perfect for snacking on with a travel buddy!
Logan Airport Terminal A
Last but not least, I grabbed a pizza from Berkshire Farms Market in Terminal A, which is an upscale marketplace featuring sustainable & organic food from local producers. Their veggie pizza was a perfect lighter pizza option, & I love that they also have ready-made cheese plates, the easiest way to my heart.
Logan Airport’s dining options, from old to new, really come together to make sure that travelers are able to grab any type of food their heart desires.
I could go on and on about the rest of the restaurants & shops that Logan has to offer, but I’ll have to save those reviews for the next time my flight is delayed… although, with Santarpio’s also opening up shop soon, it’ll be hard to keep me away from them or any of the other pizzas I tried during this last visit.
What’s the first #BosShopDine stop on your list for next time you #flyboston?
