Certainly one of my favourite topping classes? Greens! I like the flexibility, the freshness, the seasonality of all of it. It at all times shakes me up a bit after I hear folks say they NEED meat on pizza for the flavour. So, that bought me considering, what if the entire pizza was vegetable… not simply the toppings. The bottom, the submit bake, like every little thing.
It’s full of taste — some actually deep flavors, in truth, due to the focus of the caramelized onion and roasted butternut squash. To not point out the freshness of the mint, the explosion of brightness with the pomegranate aril (and, additionally, the pomegranate molasses). On Deck: Caramelized Onion and Roasted Butternut Squash Pizza

Recipe sort: pizza
- 2 cups butternut squash (diced)
- 2 medium yellow onions, caramelized
- 1 eggplant (reduce in to 1” cubes, fried, then salted)
- 1 pomegranate
- Drizzle of pomegranate molasses
- 1 tablespoon tahini
- 8 ounces Greek yogurt
- Mint
- Lemon zest
- For the butternut puree: 2 cups of diced butternut squash
- ¼ cup salted butter
- Cracked black pepper
- For tahini yogurt: 8 ounces complete milk fats plain Greek yogurt
- 1 tablespoon tahini
- Roast squash and butter on a sheet pan at 400 F for 20-30 minutes or till fork tender.
- Take away from oven and let cool barely. Then mix.
- As soon as squash is totally easy, add a pinch of black pepper and put aside.
- Combine yogurt and tahini till mixed.
- Unfold pizza dough to desired measurement.
- Fastidiously spoon on the butternut puree and unfold with the again of a giant spoon.
- Prime with caramelized onion and fried zucchini.
- Bake at 550 F for 8-10 minutes.
- Put aside on a baking sheet to chill and pipe on tahini yogurt.
- Then add the pomegranate aril, drizzle with pomegranate molasses, prime with mint leaves and lemon zest. Get pleasure from.
